Les Compagnons: Dimelo

I used to work at this hotel (The Georgian Terrace) in the early 2010’s. I'm a painter by trade and my job was basic painting maintenance in the hotel. When I needed material like more paint or brushes and stuff, I went to this local Sherwin Williams.That's where I met Dimelo. We connected because at the time I dabbled in rapping and he had bars too. Came to the crib a few times and we rapped and gradually we became homies. To this day whenever he needs something with the music, I got his back. He came thru on CD2 (Curating Dopeness 2) and we worked on “Process, Seasons and She Loves Me.” I actually worked with him on a few other tracks too. Before I knew CD2 was in fact gonna be CD2, I was thinking of calling the album “The Coffee Shop” So we did like a freestyle mixtape joint. Left it on the cutting room floor tho. Then we did this “No Vamos” record which was a banger but as we flushed out what became CD2, it sonically didn't fit where I was.
